GameStop now announces a massive collaboration with PSA, the world’s largest and most trusted trading card authentication and grading services.
GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) has announced a partnership with Collectors, specifically through its Professional Sports Authenticator division (PSA), which is known for being the largest and most trusted provider of trading card and autograph authentication and grading services.
As part of this collaboration, GameStop will serve as an authorized PSA dealer, allowing PSA to offer its authentication and grading services for trading cards at select GameStop locations throughout the United States.
Trading card grading is starting at $15.99 while other card grading starts at $19.99 per card, according to the company’s website.
It is worth mentioning that if a card is worth more than $200, buyers will be charged with an additional fee.
This development creates another stream of income for the company, which is usually seen as ‘bullish’ for investors betting on the company’s growth.
Shares of the company dropped slightly on Tuesday by 0.28%; however, GME stock is up more than 27% this year-to-date.
